My teeth are not completely straight. While they are not terribly crooked, I would like to improve the appearance?
Where to start! I'm finally in a position (at age 37) to put some time and $$ into my smile! My teeth are not completely straight. While they are not terribly crooked, I would like to improve the appearance. I have my wisdom teeth, so my first question is - if I have my wisdom teeth removed, will my other teeth move at all on their own? I also have stains from tetracyclen (sp?). I would like to eventually have porcelain veneers put on, but should I work on straightening my teeth first? I have seen examples of teeth being given the appearance of being straightened by applied veneers. So > this is so long and thanks for your advice!

First you should have your teeth checked by a dentist who will decide if veneer will help or if you have to wear braces to get your teeth straight. Having your wisdom teeth extracted will not help in making your teeth straight. Afetr the dental treatment you can have teeth whitening using the (Laser) and that might take care of the tetracyclain stain.
