Especially in these hard times, I am even more concerned that the number of dentists who use the root canal sealer/ cement called Sargenti Paste/N2/RC2-W could increase.

This substance, which contains formaldehyde, mercury, lead and sometimes even peanut oil, is cheaper for the dentists to use. However they do not pass the savings on to the unsuspecting patient. Sargenti Paste is unapproved, actually REJECTED by the FDA, and can only be made by compounding pharmacies. Unfortunately due to the lack of regulation, dentists can request almost any mixture they want.

Instead of properly cleaning the canals, these rogue dentists hope that the formaldehyde will do the work for them.Unfortunately the formaldehyde does not know the difference between infected pulp and healthy tissue, bone and nerve. Therein, lies the problem.

If there is an overfill of this paste it can cause catastrophic harm to the patient's surrounding tissue, bone and nerves. If not removed immediately by the dentist , their lives could be changed forever. Some patients have lost their health, jobs, finances, and personal lives due to the use of this toxic substance. Most times these dentists will not even admit to its use, therefore destroying the patient's chance of diagnosis and treatment.

Please ask your dentist what they use when performing root canals, and visit our website www.worstrootcanalever.com to learn more. Pass on the info, it may save someone's life!
