New Prescription Drug Plan for Individuals and Groups Offered by ActivaRx

A new dual-choice discount prescription drug plan from ActivaRX allows participants to purchase prescription drugs from 60,000 participating retail pharmacies at substantial savings. Participants may choose to use Walgreens, the mail service pharmacy, and realize even greater savings.

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) May 6, 2008 -- Individuals can save up to 82 percent on prescription drugs with the new dual-choice ActivaRx Drug Plan. This prescription drug plan enables individuals to purchase prescription drugs from any one of 60,000 participating retail pharmacies or from Walgreens, the mail service pharmacy. By paying a low monthly participation fee, ActivaRx Drug Plan members save up to 29 percent on brand name drugs and an average of 57 percent on generic drugs.

Prescription drugs, while more effective than ever, are also more expensive. Every year, more costly brand name drugs are approved. According to ActivaRX Inc., prescription drug prices are at all-time high and will continue to increase as new, more effective drugs become available. In addition, many benefit plans now exclude or restrict the purchase of prescription drugs, and some employers have eliminated prescription drug coverage from their health plans.

Individuals can visit ActivaRXDrugPlan.com to look up the price of prescription drugs before signing up for the ActivaRx Drug Plan. Visitors can also search for participating pharmacies in their area. Upon enrollment, members will receive an ActivaRx ID card that can be used at a participating pharmacy or used to order from the mail service pharmacy.

For additional information about the new prescription drug plan now available from ActivaRX, contact Olinda Vargas or visit the ActivaRX Web site at www.activarxdrugplan.com.

ActivaRX Inc. is the leader in offering standalone prescription drug plans. Mr. Benjamin D. Ward started the company in the early 1990s. Ward is also the founder of PCS (Pharmaceutical Card System), now a part of Caremark.
